Big Riverbank Litter Clearance

After all the planning, risk assessments, walks and meetings, we did it! Our Big Riverbank Litter Clearance yesterday was a big success.

A MASSIVE thank you to all of the volunteers, staff and most of all our amazing clients that worked so hard.

We started nice and early and everyone came back to the meeting point at Neville road near the river for lunch. You couldn't miss us if you were walking past as we had our gazebo set acting as the command post for the day.

The day started with registrations, to sign consent forms and pick up gloves, litter pickers and Hi viz coats. Once registered we put everyone into teams and the team leaders took their team to their preplanned sections and gave them a health and safety briefing.

Thank you to the Dignitaries that supported us on the day and to our wonderful photographers that caught the positive energy and community spirit on camera.

Well done once again to Ross who worked so hard organising lunch for us all and getting lots of donations including some lovely Pizza's from Domino's.

Thank you for all your hard work and support leading up to this event and on the day.

Go TEAM SP!
